I am not very sure bro, as I no longer use stock. Hope my memory doesn't fail me, but I think last time when I received sms I can reply without unlocking... :o

Maybe some other bros can confirm? I may be wrong :look:

New Superuser ROM

Guys & Gals,

There's another new SuperUser ROM available for download
Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=811776

As per what that threadstarter has said, basically the ROM is rooted to the most up to date WWE Legend rom

However, it's a rooted ROM & you are able to access to SuperUser capabilities

Follow the link to download stated below

Standard SuperUser ROM: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=83IHDXC1

Advance Superuser ROM: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GKMZC13K

Quickly download while stock last :D

Remember, your phone must be rooted in order to install these ROMs
I got it already

Lol :s12:

Peace, actually just curious what's the difference of those with Azure since it's been quite sometime since Ale baba update Azure. But anyway it's fast and responsive so I got no complain :s13:

If you try new ROM, did you wipe or just replace? If wipe means later need to install all the apps again rite?

Based on what i remember, the difference between Azure 1.0.1 & CyanogenMod 6 Nightly build, is that Nigtly Build is an upgrade version of Azure 1.0.1

They basically use Azure 1.0.1 & improve it...So Nightly Build is the latest one lor

If you try new ROM, DEFINITELY must WIPE, cannot just flash new ROM to replace the one, NEVER do that.

Wipe also measn re-install apps again....

I add one more sentence to let you know, after install new ROM & apps, one lucky thing is that we do not need to manually re-configure the APN settings, because the Android OS will "save" the settings, we save this procedure

Can we remove the drag down unlock?

Are you refering to answering an incoming call, then drag down to answer the call, as well as unlocking the keypad ?

Base on your HTC ROM with Sense UI, not possible

I will suggest you to install custom ROM, much more user customisable

Nope. When we want to wake up our screen we have to press the on/off button.
After that it will be the locked screen, where we have to drag down to unlock it.

Cannot, on official 2.1 ROM cannot

If you use custom ROM, then can by pressing trackpad to wake up the device, then press menu button to unlock the screen

Hope my statement answer to you promptly

Brother,

I'm using Nightly Build V25 now, my very 1st impression is that the red/green LED no longer lights up unneccessary liao, at least this bug is solved....That threadstarter indeed read our feedback

I have also go to ROM Manager & select Fix Permission, then i rebooted the phone. Guess what, the bootup speed damn fast man, so much faster than V8 ROM

I'll continue to use this ROM, till a rom with "S-OFF" becomes available for install

Go ahead & flash this ROM, very speedy

Cheers

Another noob question,
if you two are using the same phone, why can't you achieve the same speed?

Because:
1. We use different "OS", bro foosoomin is trying the latest experimental OS build which may contain a few bug fixes and some optimization.
2. His Legend also successfully overclocked to 806 MHz, while mine is stuck at normal operating frequency of 600 MHz (not so lucky :s13:)

That's what I think :look:

So Cyan is a Legend exclusive rom based off Azure?

I won't call it as exclusive. If you read the thread carefully, it says Azure 1.0.1 ROM is based on Cyanmogen, which means most of it's elements are from Cyanmogen

Then later on here comes Cyanmogen 6 Nightly Build, which is an upgrade of Azure...
That is why as of now you'll notice that in fact there's a lot of consumer uses Cyanmogen 6 ROM

Poisoning you is good mah ;)

Of course it is very fast, the reboot took less than 15 seconds, the bootup speed really improved tremendously. of course my overclocked CPU speed plays a part too, but it's really much faster than my previously used V8 ROM

Your phone sure can go pass 768Mhz one la, try this new V25 build ROM, then flash overclock kernel, test it & see how it goes...Even i say can, you must make sure that you wipe everything plus factory reset, wipe cache & wipe dalvik, then install the V25 ROM, gapps file & 768Mhz kernel

Give it a try, no harm.....
