Gosh,

My Benchmark result for that Spanish ROM is only 885, running with 806Mhz CPU speed, much poorer than Cyanogen 6 Nightly build V25

Later will install Nightly Build V26 & then run Benchmark to see result, then post here

In overall, not recommended to install the Spanish ROM

With titanium backup, practically you can back up everything. The software also has other function such as uninstalling system apps (i.e. Amazon MP3 which included with custom ROM, potentially can be dangerous if you uninstall wrongly/essential system apps).

I use it to backup all installed apps + the apps data (i.e. angry birds + game data, etc). So when I wipe and flash different ROM, all I need to do is to install back the Titanium Backup Donate (only donate version able to restore the backup apps data, free version only allow restore of apps and system data) and then do a batch restore for all apps that I back up earlier on. Save a lot of time and finger tiredness from clicking and installing those apps 1 by 1 ;)

Btw bro, the keyboard link you provided earlier is not working. I have tried the hi-res Froyo version (both v25 and v27 from original xda forum thread).
hey dude!

i used the titanium backup too when upgrading from azure 1.0.1 to nightly build v26, and managed to restore all my apps + data with the pro version. but the problem is none of my SMSes are restored. how do u restore the SMSes?

For SMS, I installed a tiny but very useful apps : SMS Backup & Restore.

So before changing ROM, just need to do a titanium backup for apps and SMS backup. Restore both afterwards. Viola... back as per normal (assuming you sync contact to Google) :D:D

Nightly Build V26

ok guys i've just ran the quadrant benchmark tests before and after upgrading the rom from azure 1.0.1 to cyanogen nightly build v26. this is on my stock htc legend with no overclock.

azure 1.0.1 - 460

cyanogen build v26 - 882

and according to the charts with build v26 it's faster than samsung galaxy S, nexusone, and htc desire, while only losing out to the moto droid X and nexus one @ 2.2+.

really incredible rom!!!

...will post a screenshot of the quadrant benchmarks once I install the drocap2 app.

guys, i am considering flashing the cyanogen nightly build ROM, but firstly i would like to know if the ROM is stable enough for the phone to be used daily.

and do we have to do a wipe everytime we want to flash to a newer version of the ROM?

Btw bro, when I flashed build 25 and 26 all the gapps like already there. Do you still need to flash this again??
Hmm when flashed the rom everything was wiped so I'm not sure how u managed to keep the gapps. Only thing I could think of is u probably didn't do a complete wipe in the recovery before flashing. But if its there and working fine I guess dun nid to flash the gapps again ba. Otherwise just do a reflash of the nightly build rom?

Of course stable for daily use......

You have to wipe everything when flashing new ROM...

Wipe everything/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, then install new ROM

So far haven't encountered any major problems with the nightly build so I guess it is stable. Others here have also used it with no issues. But do make sure to wipe each time u load a new rom.

Yes, normally I did everything from ROM manager (backup, wipe+flash new one) - unless I'm stuck in a boot loop no choice but to go to recovery mode :s13:
