Personally, I don't see the use of LTE on a tablet, i.e., extra cost to maintain a sim card just for data, while mobile data is very expensive in SG. Still better to use my phone wifi hotspot with 3G 12GB data. And it's not like we're using the tablet more than our phone.

I'm on the road most of my time.
LTE works best for last min presentations when u need dropbox
ad hoc documents to download

I domt want to keep fumbling thru my phone to turn on hotspot.. my phone don't have the luxury of always plug in to charge

I still have to remain contactable...

The feature is good for road warriors who are always moving around.

I think it may be the "safest" to get it direct from Google Play. Although it will cost more 'cos of shipping costs, devices bought from Google Play can just deal with Google for warranty issues.

Of course if it is sold officially here, then that's definitely the safest. Though I wouldn't bet on the price!

I know man. When the first Nexus 7 came out, they only had 8GB and 16GB versions. 8GB was selling for USD199, 16GB for USD249. I bought the 16GB one for USD249.

Few months after that, they said they were discontinuing the 8GB version. And they started selling 32GB version. Now, they changed the pricing of the 16GB version to USD199, and the 32GB version to USD249.

I was hoping Google will come out with another upgraded Nexus7. I wanted something the size of Nexus7 which is the best compact size tablet. I already have an iPad2 which I find it bulky.
Nexus 9 is a bit big too.

Possible, but imo not so soon. I feel that n5 and n7 has matured pretty nicely, to an extent that there isn't a real need to refresh them. Snapdragon 800 isn't exactly a pushover at this point of time.

But yes, always good to have flagships at different form factor.

Ya, think 16GB should be targeting corporate customers, like more restaurants using iPad for ordering, or for company employees etc.

Really too limited for normal consumers
