Gary bro, the battery OK bo? I mean u11

the standby time is quite bad. after 2 night its dropped 8 and 9 % respectively.
on side note, xzp has better standby.

both phones has same 7.1.1. seems like the doze on u11 felt short.

might need a couple of days to get the battery to run in...
Normally, HTC do not serve poor batt life

Will see mine next morning.

For those who have gotten the phone, u satisfied with the audio quality?

Just played around with the phone. The sound quality is phenomenal. The Usonic headbuds are OK to me but sounds about tinny at high volumes. I am using the dongle with my Sony earphones and they sound absolute pleasure. Pretty darn loud. Not as much as the HTC 10 but it is manageable.

Phone wise all OK. Have not really tried the camera just playing around with the software. Facebook does not have badge notifications but suspect it is app problem as I am getting badge icons for most of my other apps.

The included noise cancelling ear buds are the best free ear buds hands down. The noise cancellation is not aggressive though so there's no weird sensation you normally get from active noise cancellation cans. The ear buds are very bass heavy though. Thumbs up but I'll be sticking to my quad driver IEM which the U11 can drive very well with the adaptor.

Speaker wise, I can say that quality and loudness is better then an iPhone 7 Plus, but not by much. I very much prefer the built-in speakers of the HTC One M9.

That is the best feature of the phone, other than the snappy performance

My personal opinion.

I try upload a pic conparison when i have time.

But for the price, it is a great deal.

Thats the worrying part when getting a new phone.. :(

Better confirm with HTC whether the service center is at "The Central".

I guess so, but then I wouldn't have known if my brother hasn't gotten the same phone as I did! When we both had m9s it was fine.

I was wondering why despite having a higher level of charge on my phone initially, my phone still takes a longer time to full charge?

Anyway I'm using the stock charger w cable and I'm monitoring the battery to see if it's just a fluke. I really hope it's something stupid I hadn't noticed that's interfering with the charging. Or if the battery (hopefully) will just close the gap by itself!

Both phone same batt %? Cause qc works best when <80% iirc. After 80% will be slower liaos

The review from GSMArena did mentioned that U11 standby power draw is somewhat higher than average, hopefully it can be fixed with some updates or what.

My phone only dropped 2% on standby last night though, so that's good in my opinion, hopefully it stays this way. Any possibility that it's a rouge app that's drawing battery on standby?

deathscthe is right, Quick Charge stops at 80% and the phone will then slowly charge from 80 - 100%.

Does the phone show "Charging Rapidly" when you're charging the battery at below 80%? I will recommend a "calibration" by draining the battery completely and charging it to 100% at one go to see if it resolves the issue. Give it a few more days to adjust to reach optimum battery capacity.

Ah I see. Will continue to monitor the charging,it being new battery and all. When I'm doing the comparison I'll bear that in mind. Also I'm charging with phones switched off... In case there's an app interfering or something.

I just noticed that the "Charging Rapidly" doesn't go off even after 80%.

You don't have to turn the phone off, my first charge with the device off seemed to take longer as compared to when its on. Do let us know your findings and if it need to be sent in
