We are having a very old software and it does have quite a fair bit of bugs. Sometimes I have notification badges stuck and Google Playstore taking so long to install apps.

I hope HTC releases software for our region soon. We are honestly sitting on the very first retail software whole others have already gotten the second or third revision already.

I see ! Ok, I hope they will release it soon ! It's quite silly. I thought I could get around the issue if I listen to it on the Normal mode. But then it turns out while I can hear the incoming call ringtone, it's also blaring out of the speakers at the same time :p

I'm wondering if it's because of the USB c to 3.5mm adapter. Does it behave the same way with the inluded usb c earbuds?

Hi all,

I bought a Brilliant Black model. The phone seems fine and all but there seems to be a bug with the software I believe.

I am listening to music with earphones (no mic) and I am in Vibration mode (Not silent mode) when an incoming call comes in the music does not pause. The phone does vibrate however. I would only know a call is actually coming in if i look at the screen. Obviously once I pick up the call the music pauses so I can speak to the person on the line.

If I am in the normal mode, the music does pause when an incoming call comes in.

I had checked my other android phones and all of them will pause when an incoming call is in regardless of the mode. This is quite annoying as I had missed a couple of calls because the music did not paused when the call is coming and I didn't feel the Vibration.

Can someone help me out by testing to see if its the same ?

I did a factory reset and it was still the same...

Thanks in advance !

Is the vibration for U11 that soft, since you mentioned its in vibration mode?

And any other U11 users experiencing the same issue?

I tried the included USB C earbuds, it seems to be the same in Vibration mode. (No pausing of music when an incoming call comes in.)

I did try out the HTC USB-C to 3.5mm adapter on my Xperia X compact and that behave properly. I would guess the issue isn't with the adapter..

Well, I believe I was walking around with the phone in the back pocket, so it's possible to miss the vibration.

Hmm. Strange. In that case might just be the software then. I'll give it a try when I get home too just in case.

Side track a bit, if you have plans to sell your x compact, do let me know. Haha. Kinda miss the phone.

Do let us know if your set behaves like that as well or is it just mine.

Aah I doubt I will be selling the x compact anytime soon. It's a cute little phone!

O.O I prefer blue actually, even though will look likr the U Ultra. Haha. I'm pretty sure if you really don't mind, a lot of people will be willing to swap? Haha.

those looking for demo unit: nex's singtel has it! :)

played with edge sense, kind of 'meh' due to limited features you can squeeze but quite interesting though. Thought the squeezable sides would be close to tpu or soft metal but it's quite interesting!
