Yes been waiting since Nov 2nd...

By the way would like to ask something cause I see HTC's website stating that the camera has OIS+EIS (Similar to pixel 2), but most of the reviews I've seen only mentioned on OIS.

Hope some users whos got the phone can share some details on this aspect. Much appreciated in advance!

I guess HTC U11 Plus will only be launched in Singapore next year, 2018 if it ever be.

We only left 4 days in 2017 and 2 days official working day. Do you think it will even want to launch now:s13:

Enjoy the holiday week to end the 2017!

The NT$21900 is the 6GB/128GB model, NOT 256GB. And they use the SAME model as the one approved for use by Telcom Regulators in SG/MY as well.

According to sources, Telco sales in Taiwan limits the larger 6GB/128GB (NT$21,900 or S$983.09) model to those under Chunghwa Telecom 中華電信 (largest among the 5 Telcos there), while the rest sells only the 4GB/64GB (NT$19,900 or S$893.31) model. So that NT$17,999 is likely closer to the 4GB/64GB model unless the poster of that price clarifies otherwise.

Although, I would dare say, be prepare to spend around SGD990-1090 for local models should the U11+ do launch here. Especially when the U11 nowadays are seeing price drops this past few weeks (HTC's Lazada official store sells the U11 for SGD738 w/o contract). The predicted pricing for U11+ takes into account similarly-specced 6-inchers with similar specs (SD835, 6GB+ RAM models) in which it is still considered low since almost all similarly-specced rivals cost >SGD 1k w/o contract.
- LG V30+: SGD1,098
- Huawei Mate 10 Pro: SGD1,098
- Razer Phone: SGD1,068
- Samsung Galaxy S8+: SGD1,198
- Samsung Galaxy Note8: SGD1,398
- Apple iPhone X 256GB: SGD1,888

Your price assumption make sense. but bare in mind all the devices list here is this year model. And HTC going to launch only next year.

I just do not understand how HTC plan on launching this considered "lifesaving" product for them in Singapore. If it is on Jan 2018, this phone already consider "last year" model, if not been called on Jan, it will be on Mar from Barcelona.

well. just something wrong in HTC marketing or sell department.

Source: HTC U11+ Malaysian launch is happening in two weeks time - Soyacincau

Something interesting from there reads: (edited for posterity)
In Taiwan, the base 64GB storage model is priced at NT$19,900 (about RM2,725), while the higher spec 128GB storage option is priced at NT$21,900 (about RM2,999). If the U11+ follows the same trend as the HTC U11 in Malaysia, we should be getting the higher spec (6GB/128GB) model. For reference, the HTC U11 was launched in Malaysia in June with a price tag of RM3,099.
(Latest: Current U11 price there has been cut to RM2,499 according to Lazada MY Site, more expensive than the SG Edition whose price has also been cut to S$738 (RM2,242.52) on its SG counterpart site)

ICYMI: Both Singapore and Malaysia had the U11 launch in the SAME month: June 2017 and in ALL of its available colours. And both got the SAME APPROVED MODEL as well for the U11, so we can be almost sure of a few things:

- U11+ Singapore launch would likely follow that of Malaysia launch.
- If the U11+ launched in Malaysia is the 6GB/128GB model (highly likely), expect Singapore edition to be the exact same one (since that specific model is registered in both SIRIM as well as IMDA-TLS databases).
- And based on this AndroidCentral Review of the U11+, the reviewer actually revealed BOTH the review Model Number (2Q4D100 Asia Unlocked) as well as the provided specs (6GB RAM + 128GB Memory), and surprise surprise, THAT was actually the model that was approved by SIRIM and IMDA-TLS. Which falls quite in line with what I've said so far, just leaving the final confirmation to put all of these speculation to rest, for good. (Poster rant: Seriously HTC Singapore, please prove us right this time round!)

Also, for those still wondering about a possible HTC U12 and U12 plus for the forward lookers, here's some surprise there: Snapdragon 845 SoC leaked to be going into these Smartphones in 2018, quite a lot of successors to currently-selling smartphones in Singapore will have the 845 (and Exynos 9810 counterpart for Samsung), such as Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ and LG's G7/G7+ (February); Xiaomi Mi 7 (April); HTC U12 (May); OnePlus 6 and Sony Xperia XZ Pro-A (June); HMG Nokia 10 (August), Galaxy Note9, Xiaomi Mix3 and LG V40/V40+ (September); Google Pixel 3 XL, Sony Xperia XZ2 and HTC U12+ (October); with Lenovo's Moto Z 2019 in November. Please take this with pinches of salt.

There's a shop at Taoyuan Terminal 1 selling 64Gb for $18900 and 128Gb for $20900, including Translucent. My 64Gb works well on my Starhub.

Good to hear though. Any issues with the display (like people who bought the local U11 model earlier experiencing problems with the display and Edge Sense that needs to be serviced by the local HTC Service Centre) so far? It will be good to see if the U11+ with the purported "upgrades" to its battery, display, Operating System and IP rating could see it avoid the "pitfalls" reportedly plaguing some U11 units here installed with Android Nougat (SG Model has yet to receive U11 Oreo Update as of writing). Thanks in advance for helping me make a more informed decision.

You'll be surprised to see all of these 845 become "last year" SoCs in a matter of months thanks to the makers of Kirin 970 (Huawei's SOLE smartphone component that is NOT made in Mainland China itself) and Apple's A11 Bionic SoC (in iPhone 8, 8+ and X), TSMC being hired by Qualcomm to produce the Snapdragon 855 7nm SoC likely to be released with Smartphones released in Q4 2018, in which Apple will also benefit in the form of a future A12 SoC for its iPhones/iPads.
For chip context purposes, 835 will be like Intel's Skylake, 845 will be like Kaby Lake and 855 will be the Qualcomm's equivalent of Intel's 8th Gen Processors.

Also, I kind of understand how HTC "botches" its own marketing (like that Robert Downey Jr. Advert or the latest one here about U11+'s Selfie cam that tribalizes opinion on real uncut shot versus made-up simulated shot, even among purported advertising pros), it kinds of make indecisiveness about whether to put their money in or not an even more difficult one.

Well, I'm not a power user and haven't been following the U11 forums so I don't know what were the issues. I can't tell the difference between this and the AMOLED on my old Samsung S7e. No bleeding that I can see, nor colored tints. Edge Sense is working fine till now (about 3 weeks of use only, actually); I only use the single short squeeze with Edge Launcher (not camera). Battery life is ok to me, comparable to my Samsung S7e (when it was new) - about 40% drop on light use each day (light surfing, email & chats + short phone calls); will post SOT tomorrow (just charged battery). I don't use camera much, don't ask me about indoor vs outdoor vs low light etc... The supplied earphones sound good when USonic is applied. Negatives: lack of wireless charging a bit inconvenient; no headphone jack.

SOT stats:
Last full charge: 1d, 54min
SOT since full charge: 2h 37min
Battery: 60%.
(NFC, Wifi, Bluetooth on. Battery saver: off. Usual surfing, a few emails, about 1hr Youtube music).
