Also, it seems like the U11+ now has a new colour variant: Solar Red. The very same Solar Red that graced the U11 sold here last year.
Currently this colour variant is only sold in Taiwan and Mainland China markets, probably to coincide with this year's Lunar New Year. Hong Kong has yet to have this colour option yet, and since there's an offhand chance that this option would likely be released in Chinese-majority countries only (note that HTC Malaysia does not sell local sets of U11 in Solar Red, but HTC Singapore does sell all 4 colour options of that device, including Solar Red). So it's as good guess as anyone which countries might have the release, and in that Solar Red Option.

Did you compare with the u11 and see if it's also similar?
Looks like it's backlight bleeding from the LCD backlight.. pretty common for LCD devices such as these..

On my mate 10 pro which is using OLED screen, no such issue.. :p

I'm more concerned on when u going to buy me dinner! I'm waiting for my wagyu leh. Maybe then I will be more interest in your Mate 10

Back to topic, my U11 screen is much brighter, tried it on half and max brightness, the U11 is just not as bright.

Unable to test it under full sun at the moment, skies are so gloomy..

Some reviews some odd red ghosting during scrolling when night mode is activated. Anyone who has the unit experienced this?

What is your take on the phone overall?
