I like that pun :)

Got mine from Lazada, HK version. Only left black and red, so got black. (blue super popular I guess)
I'm liking it but I guess I'm living on the edge (sense), since no warranty.
The camera is good and I dont have problems with the buttons as negatively reviewed. I got a spigen transparent case and works well with the edge sense. The Tudia Merge case is hard to squeeze as it has a hard back plate (for protection but at a price) You can also set the sensitivity of the edge sense to lower to avoid mis-trigger.

OK just managed to get the translucent blue for $1065 with quite a lot of freebies. Was so hard to find the color a lot of stores carrying mainly black with red a few here and there. Apparently they give 2 years warranty by HTC Taiwan! But if anything then suay have to send back.

Hi elmariachi is your friend still in taiwan? Is it posible to get a set of translucent blue U12+ for me? I am just as desperate to get my hands on it hahaha

Oh damn you should have messaged me earlier, he's flying out in the morning. I'll check with him if he can get at the airport as not sure if they have the phone there. I'll pm you if he can get one piece at the airport. Then I'll get you to transfer me so I can transfer him.

Will pass you my details and number if he can get it.

We should do a HTC GTG one day, exchange tips & tricks, show the world that HTC is the most exclusive handphone brand, coz few can have it lol.

Just finished setting up last night and the phone is an absolute pleasure!
Everything from Camera to Audio has been improved by quite a fair bit!!! I have no problems with the digitized buttons though I would wish a sensitivity could be set so that it can be less sensitive as the phone is definitely smaller than my U11+ and alot more compact with slightly less bezels. Phone is SOLIDLY built and feels very very good in the hand.

There are some small bugs like non-responsive screen upon unlock at times but that is due to Smart Display bug. Apparently it is reported and HTC is looking into it. Also, running the display at 1440p is such a battery sucker so went back down to 1080p and seems alot better now.

Will give a more detailed review in a few days. So glad to be back to the HTC camp! Really worth the risk getting export set and hope HTC will improve their position as it is really a standard by itself.

Here is a sample pic taken earlier today during lunch. Completely on AUTO settings with no editing. Pretty damn stunning aye!

Sorry forgot to update you he told me at airport they did not have the U12+ as well. Apparently, best to get from HTC Official Store in Taiwan as they give really alot of freebies and not easy to get the Translucent Blue seems demand is overwhelming for that color.

Ah it's alright bro I've just placed an order from Expansys SG for a Flame Red set. [Only colour left atm :/] Can't wait to receive it! (Wasn't convenient for my mum's friend to help me get a set :( )
