Just got my U12 Plus this afternoon. Very satisfied with it and honestly couldn't have asked for a better phone. Really a step up from my previous HTC 10. Anyway, would like to thank you all for all the info posted here about the U12. Have been keeping tabs on these HTC forums since the HTC 10, just that didn't have the feel then to create an account hahaha. Cheers! ;)

How is the battery life and SOT compared to the U11 and u11+. For my usage, U11 - I get approx 5hrs SOT, U11+ easily 6-8+ hrs SOT. Hope the U12+ can have at least 6hrs and last about 18hrs off charger. Thinking of getting a Taiwan set soon.

SoT for me is abt almost 4hrs. But honestly it depends on usage. U still can get zero SoT if left standby till flat. My wife's U11 lasts longer but she does not use as much. Currently as I'm typing, its 2hr 10m SoT, 54% left, 14hrs since last full charge.

I guess it is just too much to ask to see the U12+ in Telco by this year?

I would have been a proud owner of one last month, but circumstances prevented me from getting my set from Taiwan. Seriously considering if I should still try and get one in Taiwan in Christmas, or just get something else.

I love the HTC phones, but it is ridiculous how far we have to go to get one. :(

How much u got it for?

Parents in Taiwan for tour. Just ask them to look for it in Taoyuan airport Terminal 2. Hopefully have.

Saw the duty free shop Everrich website.. NT$23650

Not sure worth it at that price?

Checked with HTC SEA site's Live Chat.

Initially told me 1 year warranty is applicable in Sg as long as buy from authorise shops, just keep the receipt.

Phone has to be already launched in Sg then can send to Sg service centre.
But will need to pay overseas device diagnostic fee $53.50...

Grr.

Parents in Taiwan checked with 2 shops .. One in Taipei(to be exact, Ximending). One at Taoyuan Airport. Both say only have 1 year Taiwan warranty.. Do not have international warranty.

Looks like I may jump to Huawei Mate20/Mi8/Mi Mix2s if they still don't launch by year end.

They mentioned as long as Sg has not launched the phone yet, they might not be able to repair the phone.

Looks like they gave up on SG already. Might as well buy from Malaysia. I think its available. Can anyone verify?

Possible...but wonder if there's trustworthy online shops we can buy from?

JOHOR Service centre is in Skudai.
