CPU+MB: Intel Celeron G1820 + ASUS H81I-PLUS @ $142
90% performance of Pentium G3320 at 75% its cost.
Haswell Celerons also comes with useful Intel Quick Sync for fast and efficient video decoding/encoding.
This ASUS motherboard offers another 2 extra SATA ports and a useful USB 3.0 header for just $5 more.

is Celeron G1820 more than enough to handle 4k Resolution streaming from YouTube?

Maybe another option:

Gigabyte J1800-D2H - USD 74.99
Amazon.com: Gigabyte Intel Dual-Core Celeron J1800 Soc 2.14GHz Built-In Mini ITX DDR3 1333 NA Motherboards GA-J1800N-D2H: Computers & Accessories

4GB SO-DIMM - USD 40.24
Amazon.com: Crucial 4GB Single DDR3 1333 MT/s (PC3-10600) CL9 SODIMM 204-Pin 1.35V/1.5V Notebook Memory Module CT51264BF1339: Computers & Accessories

Crucial M500 120GB SSD USD 73.99
Amazon.com: Crucial M500 120GB SATA 2.5-Inch 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal Solid State Drive CT120M500SSD1: Computers & Accessories

Jonsbo V2 + FSP 300W 80+ SFX PSU @ SGD 105

Buy the SO-DIMM and SSD will qualify free shipment from Amazon to Singapore. And V2 and FSP300W SFX combo from fellow forum seller (t258jgn)

Excluding shipment from USA to Singapore (only for the motherboard), the total cost of this setup:

(USD 74.99 + USD 40.24 + USD 73.99) * 1.3 + SGD 105
= SGD 351

The 2TB HDD can be mounted to a USB 3.0 enclosure and connect externally as main storage HDD.

Alternatively, you can try the AMD Kabini platform. Though slightly higher TDP as compared with Baytrail (10W vs 25W), but I guess the price/performance ratio is better.

MSI AM1I motherboard + AMD Athlon 5350 @ USD 114.28
Amazon.com: ASUS Mini ITX DDR3 1600 Motherboards AM1I-A: Computers & Accessories

You can use back your 8GB RAM. If buy the AMD Athlon 5350 and Crucial M500 will qualify for free shipment from Amazon to Singapore.

So total damage (recycle RAM) & exclude motherboard shipment from USA to Singapore:

(USD 114.28 + USD 73.99) * 1.3 + SGD 105 = SGD 349.8

About the same price as Intel Baytrail platform but you get the following items better:

- Kabini (6 Gbp/s) instead of Baytrail (3 Gbp/s)
- 2 USB 3.0 ports instead of 1
- normal DIMM instead of SO-DIMM memory
- 8GB memory instead of 4GB
- Quad-core AMD Kabini instead of dual-core Baytrail

Yeah I guess so as well. J1800 graphics core is based on Ivy Bridge generation (HD4000) with lower clock rate and fewer execution units.

AMD Athlon 5350 And AM1 Platform Review - Tom's Hardware

If the review from Tomshardware guide is anything to go by, the comparison between J1900 (same graphics core as J1800) vs AMD 5350, Looks like AMD is the winner over here.

Is the asus h81i good enough for video editing? Generally speaking, I wonder if ITX board chipsets will be good for video editing using the on-board video without a dedicated graphic card.
