U have just listed the brands. Would be good if can specify the exact phone models to compare, and both brands have phones ranging from budget, mid range to flagship. So which ones are u referring to?

suggest to look at phones with minimum 2gb ram, 16gb storage
honor 3c - only 8gb storage, no 4g
oppo neo 5s, only 1gb ram, 8gb storage
zte blade s6 - seems to exceed $250; note nano-sim slot...

Oppo usually overall ok. Camera is good/better for phones in same price range, and generally smooth operations. But stuck to its ColorOS which is based on old Android Jelly Bean maybe. Oppo Neo 5 screen is slightly smaller at 4.5"?

Huawei is value for money brand. Offers phones with specs better than Western, Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese brand for same amount of money. Usually has big and good IPS screen. Honor 3c has 5" screen. Battery maybe slightly larger (2300 mAh compared to many 2000 mAh in competitors). Quality and reliability dunno.

Any feedback with these 2 phones? Battery life and bugs?

Oppo is always overpriced for its specs from point of it's a china brand. They selling their phone with big marketing budget therefore consumer have to pay part of it.

As for Huawei, never liked their phone as they have problems updating their phone. Their phone design is usually uninspiring. The only phone that can look forward from them is next Google nexus which rumored to be made by Huawei.

From your requirements of dualsim and being cheap,Xiaomi redmi 2 enhanced or meizu m2 note are recommended. The Mi4i is not recommended as the GPU is not powerful enough to run its 1080p, hence people complaint of it being laggy.

Huawei makes phones that look like HTC and LG design at first glance. :s22:

if you're looking for low-end models might as well buy the Xiaomi Redmi 2 enhanced.

anyway I used to own a Huawei P8 and really impressed by it. only the software was really ugly and a little trying too hard, but the hardware and the camera and just about everything else was good for me
