Where to get such a deal? Huawei SG website doesn't even have.
Would appreciate if anyone here can give me a head-up on where to buy. TIA

Have you tried the mobile phone shop in Cathay on the 3rd floor? You can also try Simpang Tiga mobile at Geylang or one shop at Elias Mall Pasir Ris.

Thanks guys! I checked with Huawei at The Central and they have it at $269. M1 selling at $269. Some other shops also selling at $269. Its still quite value for money at this price but nowhere near as cheap as Malaysia at RM499 which is $190.

Although 3C has better specs than Redmi, its too expensive $269.

The 3C was supposed to compete head on with the Redmi and marketed the same way as the Redmi but Singapore is getting the worst deal. It shouid be selling at about $200 in order to compete with Redmi. Also, Huawei after sales service is like no-service. $200 for this phone and I can forgive the lousy service but at $269 no way.

Anybody knows if any shop here is selling the 3C for around $200?

I think you're better off taking a bus up north and buying this thing rather than hoping for that kinda price locally imho.

As you said it yourself, got local warranty also like don't have so might as well buy from malaysia.

All the shops are not selling it. Only available online through Vmall online and you need to provide a Malaysian address for delivery.

Where did you buy the phone from and is yours 1gb or 2gb RAM?
I asked a staff at Huawei showroom at Central and he don't know and gave me the excuse that he is a service staff and not sales staff so he doesn't know and there is no sales staff. I asked a staff on M1 shop and he doesn't know either and he told me 2gb after checking GSMarena. As we all know, the specs on GSMarena are not for our local sets. NO shops seem to have a demo set. Huawei is making no effort to market this phone here.

The Digital Lifestyle shop at Suntec (near Tower 3) has working Huawei 3C and 3X on display that you can play with. They are 2GB RAM.

I bought the 3C from China (online) in March and love it. Pretty fast, and the 2GB RAM makes a HUGE difference in day to day usage if you have lots of services and background apps running. Since I bought mine online, the vendor alredy installed Clockworkmod recovery on it, making it a real breeze to flash a custom rom.

I think at this price, even at $269, it's hard to do better. Redmi is cheaper but it has only 1GB + 4GB. The extra RAM and memory makes a huge difference if you install lots of apps.
