Prefer the Honor 3C over the 3X. Did you know you can double tap the screen to wake phone up (like LG G2)? No need press power button till spoilt.

I have some question regarding the camera software:

1. Is there an option to turn the camera shutter sound on/off?
2. Is burst mode available?

Take notes if we buy our honor 3C from official channel in Singapore or Malaysia -

Currently, our Local set can't support custom rom.
If you flash CWM or 3rd party rom, you will have bootloop.

To turn off your shutter sound, one option is to root it and delete the sound files from the /system/media/audio/ui folder. I used the one-click root from shuaji.net, but WARNING: mine is imported from China, not a local set. It may or may not work for local sets, and I'm not responsible if you screw up your phone. Rooting is always a bit risky.

Or, you can use the excellent app Tasker to detect that the camera has been launched, and set the phone on silent automatically.

Last option is to install another camera app from Google play store.

I am looking at dual sim smartphone for my overseas biz.
I was at Funan mall during lunch time, and the M1-nokia shop on ground floor was offering Honor 3C at $268.00, cash & carry.

I have checked the Internet and it seems a decent mobile phone.

I am a little confused:
Is 3C a 1Gb or 2Gb ram?
In their specs folder, it is 1Gb ram & 4Gb memory
The 3X is also on sale (400 plus) but have 2 Gb & 8 Gb memory

Besides this shop, any other place in Singapore offering a better deal? (e.g. with 16bGb sdcard?

The 3C in China is available in both 1GB and 2GB flavors, but I believe the Sg stocks are 2GB. The specs, including the amount of RAM, is printed on the back of the box, so just ask for the box and take a look.

Someone manage to unlock the bootloader of our local set. It's now possible to use 3rd party rom or upgrade to the official kitkat 4.4
