Hi all, i bought my huawei honor from an non-telco shop but i have a cert saying its an non cam phone. Does anyone here knows whether SAF will approve me to bring it to camp when i show them the receipt of the non-telco shop and my cert from huawei??

Trying calling the MSD department. I believe you can check it through the camp computers.
Alternatively, you can try looking up for the new DIRECTIVE. Inside the file, are examples of cert and receipt to show your USO (provided you have the new cert). But please double check with your USO whether they have any MSD Sticker first. Some Camp don't have so even if you buy, you cant bring in. In this situation you can only suck thumb.

Nice, my USO paste it inside the battery compartment. Sibei troublesome must off phone and take out battery if the guard wanna check.
Well if your cert is the new one below, with the serial number on the top right hand corner. It is already in the new DIRECTIVE by MINDEF. However you cant get the sticker if you are holding onto the old cert.

IMO ask the USO for confirmation first. Sometimes depends on your USO also lol.

Mine's pasted on the outside of the case, which is super ugly and the sticker's started to come out. :S now that i see yours, i feel like removing my sticker and putting it inside.
Im NSF lol.
USO = Unit Security Officer.
I not sure about other unit officer. Best is ask the guard room, they should know. Otherwise ask around.

hmm...don't suggest that you try removing the sticker to paste inside... as i believe the stickers shd be tamper-proof type and will void once you try to peel it.
you may consider pasting a clear scotch tape over it instead.

I read the directive many time, it stated it can be either from either 3 telco and direct from HW as well.
