iirc, GST is charged at custom clearance, ie. the courier company will declare the value of goods according to Expansys's invoice, and then charge the customer accordingly before delivery.

yah inclusive of gst. hopefully the m5 is a good upgrade from the k1 man. lol.

I would rather go for M3 with S$200+ less as not really much upgrade for M5 from M3 besides the Kirin 960 (chip since 2016) from 950, usb type c, oreo vs nougat, and of course the coming gpu turbo via OTA for M5 (confirmed for PRC version) ... unless one wants 10 inch and when its pricing become more attractive..

the price of m3 8.4 is still 300 or above.

Are you sure you can buy and deliver to singapore through taobao delivery channel at dongguan ? The seller has already indicated that not for sale in foreign markets. If not, what are the choices you can use to get this done ?

I am also keen to buy if the PRC govt customs can allow this product to get through its checks and come to singapore.

Either way:
a.Use ur taobao acc to buy and pay (CC or M'sia online banking) then ship to 3rd party forwarder at PRC (those can handle n ship electronic gagdet one ... ~$10/kg and optional for insurance ) and they will handle the PRC & SG custom and to ur doorstep/self collect

b.Or engage a buy for me agent (if u dun want to get the RMB100 off coupon and dun mind to pay them a fee) and make sure he/she complete the order for u b4 the offer end..same for the logistics flow.

Ur goods is shipped fr the PRC seller to PRC address and not ur SG address n the ship forwarder to handle both custom..

If >= S$400 then u have to pay the gst via Air, via Sea GST is a must..

Currently, try not to engage ezbuy as their shipping address being mostly banned by Alibaba (high chance cant pay/seller cant ship out)..n taobao official forwarder seems very troublesome and hard to manage.. so, avoid those oredi known as high risk and troublesome..

Bear in mind..risk is there eg. no warranty, DOA ..for high value better buy the insurance

I have bought multiple gadgets for own use via sunning,JD, Tmall/Taobao and so on and shipped over with 3rd party forwarder (ship for me)..

I read the posts earlier that Expansys sells the M5 10.8 wifi 128GB model before gst prices. So I think I will buy this product from Expansys and avoid the disappointment from a defective set of tablet, troublesome to get a 3rd party forwarder other than taobao channel at dongguan.

Moreover, through my previous chats through Ali wang wang with the store assistants in other products, the attitude I perceive has been like ai mai ai mai disinterested to communicate with you once the other party knows that you are from singapore. Then, disconnect.

Or I may consider samsung tab S3 lte 9.7 at S$798 at redwhitemobile.com. At least can test check before paying money.

I am more interested to buy larger models to watch YOUKU tv drama serials.

Np, bro...those sales person is tied up with massive inquiry/request to ship out as well .. very pressurized .. I nvr tell them to ship oversea to avoid they just simply ship me a return unit or any sort of funny thing..

Those gadget with saving for $200+ and more then worth for me to adventure it ... just imagine for $600+ I can get almost 2 sets for M3..

Btw, this offer is fr Sunning store at Tmall, per my experience, product fr Sunning is much better controlled than JD (nick name 二手东） simply bcos returning a product to Sunning is more difficult to JD and Tmall thus less returned unit/stock at Sunning..return product is norm for China consumer..

you can use official or 3rd party forwarder in dongguan.

the new ezbuy or mrc shld work out fine.

My Mi Max is from tmall and tv from sunning.
