i was looking at some 10" tablets and am quite interested in this one.
BUt then i saw ASUS 3S 10, that looks like a pretty decent deal compared to M5.

From their listing, it looks more like 2 months shop warranty only instead of an "additional 2 months warranty". I didn't clarify though.

I bought Mediapad M5 LTE 10.8 inch 32GB from Spain. It works well now.

This is my study result...
10.8 inch LTE model is sold only in China and Europe. China model is 64GB but no Google Play. In Europe, it's only 32GB but with Google play. I don't want to be bothered in future with firmware ug or Google play install. I chose Europe model.
Amazon in Europe does not ship tablet out of Europe. I found the shop which ships to Singapore.

Price is 408.19 Euro + Shipping (DHL) 23.95 Euro + Singapore GST about S$55. EU VAT was exempted. Look ok.
It was dispatched 5 day after I ordered, and I received it in 2 days.

If you want to buy 8.4" LTE or Pro 10.8" wifi, simply you can choose Expansys. It sells Hong Kong (Asia) model with Google Play.

I give up waiting for launch in Singapore. I'm thinking to import.
I want to buy 10.8 inch with LTE. I'm fine with Pro or not Pro model.
Hong Kong or US does not sell 10.8 with LTE. 8 inch is the choice for LTE.
It's sold in China, but China model is not preferred due to lack of Google play. (it's not my option to change firmware.)
I found it sold in EU, but they didn't look good because it's difficult to ship battery and VAT refund is not provided.
Do anyone know the place to ship 10.8 with LTE to Singapore and provide VAT refund?

I don't know how to check which is HD or SD, but M5 is included for Netflix HD list.

Netflix is available in HD on the Android tablets below.

FYI, M5 8.4 inch is officially launched in Malaysia at RM 1,499, 10.8-inch launching on 23 July at RM 1,899.
The latest price for 8.4 inch already dropped to below RM 1,400.
