need some help.
using a xiao mi 5 and want to transfer the whatsapps over to this mate 10
However the newly installed whatsapps on huawei isn't giving me the option to restore from the google account on the xiaomi 5. Any ideas?

I tot the whatsapp auto backup and restore to new handset?

Provided the user has backed up to the Google account. It easier to copy and paste the entire WhatsApp folder to the new phone. Maybe the guy can try reinstalling WhatsApp and see if the restore option appear.

You can use phone clone app.

I just had a defragmentation notice come up on my m10Pro.. and silly me decided to find out where it came from.. the option disappeared.. anyone know how to get it back?

No idea too. I dismissed it the other time accidentally and was looking for it. But the option came back on after sometime

Go open the Phone Manager. I think you should be seeing low optimize number? Just click optimize.

I got my Mate10 in January. Batt life superb. Charged full before I go bed (pulled out charger at around 11pm), and it can still remain at 100% when I get up the next day (around 6am). Can last through whole day without charging - typical activities: I surf internet/read ebook/watch online streaming during transit. At work I hardly have the time to touch the phone except during lunch hour. If just reading ebook / surfing internet, by the time I reach home there's still around 60~70+%. If I stream online then probably about 40~50% when I reach home at around 7+pm. Kept WhatsApp running in the background by ignoring battery optimisation specially for WA - doesn't seem to affect battery life.

No headphone jack. Why not go for Mate 10 pro instead? Since both model using same SoC. Only difference is the camera and under glass finger print sensor? And Mate RS is using only USB 2.0 type C so you can't use desktop mode unlike the Mate 10/Pro.

I'm just upgraded from mate 10 to mate 10 pro in Feb.
But the itchy fingers are itchy again.

Quite hard to survive a day of usage, light-moderate usage. Still trying to figure out whats causing the drain

Go to Power Manager, battery, battery usage and see which app eating most battery.

Like after a fresh restart, with all apps cleared, the memory is say 2.4GB free.

Using it for like 1 week plus it slowly drops to only 1.2-4GB free after clearing apps.

And the camera takes like 4 seconds to be ready lol, but after restart ok liao.

Yep. Free memory getting lesser. I restart my phone every night.

Wah so fierce ah haha.

Maybe it’s just an android thing right?

Cause iPhone can go for 1 whole month never restart everything is still fast.

Android seems to naturally slow down a bit over time, but once restart everything back to normal.
