3D curved design is for the back exterior. The screen is flat.

but the screen looks kinda curved. hopefully its just the cover glass and not the lcd panel.

just now i ask huawei shop at clementi. preorder 888. able to get it by 24 october..and most shop will have it either by 24 or 28 to be molested

but i prolly wont want to preorder without getting a feel of the phone first they say it's wider than normal and will feel heavy when trying to change grip.

you can go to the shop and have a feel of it. they have a mould of the phones. for me its quite heavy. compared it with p10plus

I love it that we have something truly new and innovative to play with, the AI NPU, and as long as everything else is competent, this is definitely the phone to buy for any phone enthusiast.

Last few months I've read up and learned python and did machine learning exercises, and it's such a powerful algorithm generator I'm not surprised many many things will be using the AI chip within the next 2 quarters.

The curvy feel of the Mate 9 back is gone in the Mate 10. Fingerprint sensor is also less conveniently placed in front. The glass back also seems to heat up a bit too easily. First impression only though.

Maybe need to avoid first batch...like p10plus...quite some issue happen on the first batch...ufs2.1..2.0... no oleophobic on the glass...and lastly is the screen sensitivity a.k.a... phantom touch...

Then they slowly fix back..but those who on first batch..stuck forever...

Anyway I was really excited about this phone but the 2013 screen resolution and lack of SD card slot on the Mate 10 Pro is really a let down. They could do expandable storage for Mate 10 but not the Pro...

Waiting for Razer to see if it ticks all my boxes.

Razer will going to chop your carrot with their premium price...I stop going for their product after my Razer keyboard failed me 3 times with in the same month...

yea. the general consensus in the comments section says mate 9 looks better. its over-sharpen. there is no significant improvement to mate 10 camera even with NPU (apparently just detect grass,pet,food etc). still this is just initial review.

looks like the hype train is derailed with benchmark and photo quality comparison. gonna skip this 1. or wait several month when the price drop <500
