I think that is a common edge detection problem even for Apple and Samsung.

I am waiting for reviews for the Google Pixel implementation by using A.I. instead of relying on dual cam.

I was hoping Huawei would used A.I. too for this feature and somehow makes it better than Google because they have 1 more camera to perfect it.

Maybe an update would solve it.... takes time because Google didn't buy Deepmind for over half a billion usd for nothing.

I am actually quite happy with everything else about the Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro.

Only the camera is like they are hiding something.... even did not demo well the video taking capabilities.

Remember, this is using Leica branding to bump up the price. So, photography enthusiast like me would naturally expect more to compete with the LG V30, Google Pixel or even iPhone.

True..will wait for more review, benchmark and dxomark..so far the only ai capability shown yest is "faster" processing speed (in term of raw power still lose to a11 chips), camera that detect flower/pet/food but the quality seems like the same with other phones

currently it all seems bad news for me with fhd,3.5mmjack, bluetooth vers 4, no sdslot...etc and still cost 1,300

If ignoring all the hype of NPU and higher battery capacity i think i may get LG v30 if the latter one is much cheaper than mate 10 pro.

mate 9 have same battery capacity of 4k mah but the battery endurance is still same as other flagship phone that have 3k mah.

its not about the capacity, its more about optimization. hopefully this is what NPU will chimes in and help improve the battery endurance. but there is no concrete evidence yet as of now. need to wait for more review.

need also to see what this NPU is capable of. so far only in paper say 50x faster, help improve camera, help improve battery..but all just paper talk and marketing presentation
