Actually ah, why do people need 6 gig of ram ah?

6 gig of ram is mostly to do what? take high intensive HD videos?

Just curious cos still undecided between the pro and non pro one.

To keep more apps open in the background without it having to reload.

It looks good on paper. In real life, not much if diff. For me it's more on software optimization rather than stacking up the hardware specs but the OS is still crappy.

Likely PRO will be $1088 +/- given it is EUR100 difference.

Looks aside (always subjective), Mate 10 seems more appealing. Water proof not required here, OLED is still hit and miss and lower res so not really a full plus. 4gb Ram is good enuff for now unless that NPU needs way more, still limited NPU use cases or apps so doubt much impact. Mate 10 + SD card solves the space issue at a much cheaper price.

Other than that the key important things like Kirin 970, NPU, Dual F1.6 cam, super charging - all the same. I also do like 3.5mm jack not draining more battery using wireless headset. Personally I don't mind the button as it gives more screen real estate, soft button row easily take 0.3" off the specs, although many apps nowadays know how to auto hide it.

can't charge and listen to music/watch videos at the same time.. Wonder how the battery will last... Sometimes store music may take up a lot..

Does it still include 2y warranty with screen replacement program? That's also a 'feature' ahead of other flagships :)
