I have the same issue with WhatsApp. But I use Silent Mode Pro to disable the sound.

Probably other app can do it as well.

Thanks bro, didn't know there was hi care. I suspect firmware related since I updated to 128 recently. Have gone back down to 126 and problem seems resolved, will monitor for now. Cheers!

Forced the update using the DNS method a few pages before. But yeah maybe you shouldn't haha since I experienced charging issues..

I recently got the M10P and is in the midst of setting up.

1. How to disable apps you don't use? I know you can't uninstall, is there anyway to remove/hide them using stock OS?

2. Adding email accounts from the Email app has been a pain, it kept prompting there some POP3/IMTP error. I don't recall such things on other Android or even Windows phones.

Anyone got use a different lockscreen ? I find the stock lockscreen cannot expand the notification or scroll to the bottom if you have many notifications... Kinda wasted the whole big screen... Haha

You can disable with package disabler pro. Although it's not documented anywhere but it works once you made the app an owners app using ADB command. You need to remove any accounts (google and what not) on the phone first tho so I recommend you do this when you reset. You can also remove google account and re-add it back later but hv to reconfigure your Google stuff again. See pic below

For item #2, can try use Google Gmail app

I got the error saying the "username or password is incorrect or pop3/smtp service is disabled". I saw that someone else posted on xda as well regarding this problem but no solution. Not sure if any of you are using the default email app.

I was trying to add Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail. All 3 have no issues in the Gmail app.

What did you enter for username? It kept promoting wrong username/password.

Then I was brought to another advance settings page where it's asking for Domain, Server and Port.

From Hotmail webpage, I can find the POP and IMAP settings but I don't understand what's the domain.

The app used to be for Samsung only long time ago but it's actually generic if you made it an owner app. There is also an LG version which is the same thing but need to download a LG companion app (which I think help make the app an owner app without having to remove any accounts). Same goes for Samsung also
