My YouTube problem still persist.

However Smth new happen today. While youtubing phone screen blank tried to unlock it but to no avail after 10 secs then my Wallpaper showed but never unlock even when I put my finger behind.

I proceed to unlock using pin code and screen blanks again and whole cycle repeat for 5 min till I decide to restart the phone since cannot access it lol.

Could it be due to un upgraded firmware? My YouTube updated in play store alrdy. Or bring back huawei?

Sorry for wOT

I was using SwiftKey since my last phone till now I got my Mate 10. I was getting more and more unsatisfied with SwiftKey Chinese predictions. Then I saw the recommendation of Gboard yesterday here in this thread and decided to try. I personally feel it's better than SwiftKey. There's some habits that I need to change (eg. no auto space after punctuation marks apart from full stop etc), but generally I find predictions on Gboard way better than SwiftKey. I guess different user different preferences.

Ya the Chinese prediction on swiftkey is bad.... But I don't know why gboard become so slow nowadays.... Haha, previously it was working fine on my Nexus ...

131 firmware not so power saving compared to previous/out of the box one.
If no need VoLTE better don't upgrade. Mate 10/Pro also the same, since I have both phones.

I am using Google PinYin Keyboard for English and Chinese input. So far the best keyboard I found.

These 2 days I have issue connecting to mobile data after switching from wifi. On/off airplane mode, wifi, mobile data didn't work. Restart phone didn't work. Enable/disable sim didn't work.

On starhub, mate 10, firmware 136. Anyone encounter same issue?

quite a few people pointed their fingers at the singtel router as a culprit, me included, just have to turn off and turn on the wifi when that slowness happens.

I bought a M10P 2 weeks ago as well, great phone, snappy and fluid, sleek. Never looked back coming from an S7. But I have the wifi issue as well, sometimes slow, sometimes it won't connect, sometimes it can't seem to load after leaving the phone there for an extended period. I went to huawei and got it checked, seems to be a wifi issue and they replaced me a new set. Now the new set has the exact same problem! Interestingly I have no such problems when I'm in school or in my hostel, only back home (where I have the Singtel AC1900 router). Currently monitoring the situation again after some tweaks and if it happens again, Huawei is gonna come down and pick it up from me. Not sure now if its the phone or the router 😓

Could be router. I had similar experience in my SingTel router.

Actually the widely recognized Chinese/English keyboard in mainland is 百度拼音输入法,better than Google Input IMO, you can even input Chinese through voice, just remember to disable all those news update option in their settings.

This is not a remote issue. Seems like quite a number of people having WIFI connection issues with their Singtel router. This could be a compatibility issue either with the router or the phone.

Between firmware 131 and the original 119( I think), the former does result in some battery life regression, but I don't think it is that serious based on my personal observation. For my usage, I still get 2 days of battery life.

Yup, confirmed there's an incompatibility issue with Singtel routers but not to say that it's definitely Singtel's problem because the M10 is the only device that has issue, I've a variety of phones ranging from Samsung, Oneplus, Xiaomi etc, all no problems, only M10P got problem. Even my old Nexus 6p which is a HuaWei device has no problem. Only way to fix it permanently is to add/change router to another brand or wait for HuaWei to come up with a fix
