i also set notifications to priority and let it run in background but still wont get notif until i open the app

For whatsapp notification,
you must also do this also: (on top of allowing notification, which is pie behaviour)

Settings/Apps/Apps/Spcial Access (the 3 dots on top right)/Battery Optimisation (this is Huawei's behaviour)

Do not allow batt opt for whatsapp. If you are using teslaunread from Nova launcher, that must be set to not allowed also.

Kinda wished I got the Twilight instead now, might be even more chio cuz the tinted back and check design can help to tone down that crazy reflective twilight back, making it have a more understated look..

Update on my wrong-sized Mate 20 tempered glass SP from Mobilesquare:

Mobilesquare made things right, and they were nice and patient throughout the whole interaction. They checked and installed a new SP with black border which looks great, feels super smooth, and picks up lesser oil. This new one only covers a tiny sliver of the screen edge on the left and right side, noticeable only if I focus and look out for it. They no longer carry the old wrong-sized SP. In the beginning my Spigen Rugged Armor pushed one corner of the SP up a bit, but it has been hours and it hasn't happened again. I'm happy with this new one.

Got a nice deal last week from Starhub. $75 monthly less 20% corporate discount. Only need to pay$121 for the phone. :s12:

The consensus seem to say the Pixel camera 3 is a lot more realistic but the configuration of the mate 20 pro cameras is more versatile in its use.

There are a number of youtube comparison videos out but all of it are before the newest updates which supposedly improved the mate series cameras in terms of accuracy of colours.

I would be interested to see more comparisons after the latest updates

Thanks! What's nice about HW is the 2 year warranty. Although service is poor as long as they honor your warranty, it should be ok.
