Im buying mate 20 pro at carousell instead of s10+ coz both not much diff. Anything i should take note? Like the glue gate thingy?

what diff? nowadays, i don't see any distinctive features for both the series, just the name and timing...

Mate is larger and mate will have a variant with headphone jack.

Depends on what u r primary looking for in a smartphone...
For me Samsung display seems better den mate 20 pro...
But I prefer 20 pro for its camera and batt

Where is this widget and setting located?
Now I kept pressing my power button to switch off the screen before putting into pocket... Very abusing.
And setting the screen into. Sleep mode at 15sec which really inconvenient when reading long article, it goes darker screen quicker

pinch your home screen. at bottom u will find Widget, press on it, and drag out the Screen Lock icon to anywhere u like. u can just press on it to lock screen

The green issue I reported earlier is similar to the pictures shown here. Tilting the phone slightly resolve it. Seem like boe display issue and lg model does not have this problem.

Yes it's similar to mine. I have a BOE screen as well. But in that picture, it looked wider. Mine is not that wide but still very visible with white background.

If it's the glue gate issue, it most likely will spread, and I think the green would be slightly different.

If you are really concern, you can always try to exchange it. But to be honest, if it's just a thin line on the side, I bet they would just brush it off as normal.

If you are not using Huawei's default launcher, then it won't show up. Otherwise workedmw has a more detailed direction.

Learnt something. Didn't know HW included this in their apps suite.

Anyone else running Toggle app and casting to your Smart Tv?

After trying the App launch settings to Manual and the Battery optimization setting, Toggle still hangs and asked to close after video is casted on to the Tv.

(This happens when Mate 20 screen goes off after 30 secs or switch app and come back to Toggle...)

Even the Lock function also wont let the controls of that video stays. Have to sort of restart Casting though video is still on TV playing.

haha i was using iphone and can only back up to apple's icloud. So cannot transfer apple icloud whatsapp history to android. sian.

By the way.. i tried registering for Huawei ID but idk why i cant receive email verification? check spam mail also dont have..

Also, i see some people can swipe right on home screen and read stuffs like google news.. wat is the setting to do that?

If you are using HW's default launcher, turn on HiBoard. (Go setting and search for HiBoard)

a lot of differences..., battery charging time i think mate 20 pro should still be the best. and also, the price difference now...more value for mate 20pro

Mate 20pro better camera, you can go paly with S10+ camera. especially the Macro mode. Huawei is very good.

mine is boe screen and also has green edges which are very visible in white background. I realised this is common and so learnt to live with it because all huawei mate 20 pro has the same issues. My only regret is buying mate 20 pro because of its curved screen, no more curved screen in future for me lol. Flat screen on mate 9 was so much better.

I got something similar from lazada, like hydrogel screen protector. However I am still looking for a good privacy screen filter. Does anyone have a good recommendation? I dont mind if it affects the inscreen fingerprint scanner.

Any other case to recommend or you guys using? Other than UAG?
