Am thinking of changing to Mate 20 which is currently going for $528 at Challenger, but Oppo Reno Z at $399 seems quite good too. Any advice?

Can't advice on the Reno but I'm using the mate 20, it's a damn good phone if u're not into bells and whistles like reverse wireless charging or optical fingerprint scanners. The cam is good, speed is fast, screen is big (and flat which is good for screen protectors) and battery life is stellar.

Double tap jiak battery.
Fingerprint scanner on the rear works promptly. And mate 20 has bigger battery too. Brand new can get at probably $400+

Why stop at p30, jump straight to p30 pro la. That is likely to be Huawei's last greatest phone with Google services.

Wah both of you do not mind a year's old phone, saved few hundreds.

Mate 20 most value for money. It is still unlocking fast and battery last a long long time. Using both face unlock and fingerprint.

Agree the supercharge is not the fastest around but it is FAST enough. Beside, after my lesson with Samsung, I usually use a slow charge to boost it up. Don't want the battery to spoil too quickly from the heat that comes with super charge.

Only have to get used to the Huawei UI and some apps don't play well with it. The background management is very aggressive. I paired it with my Samsung Gear and the connection breaks sometimes.
