Until today DXOmarks don't have mate 20 series

it could also be that dxomark methodology is in need of a rejig for this generation of phone cameras

sometimes even if a new phone bursts the benchmark doesnt mean photos are necessarily better


in any case, huawei's current triple camera is amazing in its own regard

taking in that they collaborated with leica

the 3x 5x optical zooms are v useful and definitely an edge over iphone, wide angle is another +1 and puts it on par with LG

in mate 20 series, the monochrome mode is pretty amazing too imo. even normal pictures when edited and adjusted in bw the setting is way ahead of what apple has.

it really gives photos that 'leica' look for lack of better way to explain this.



im quite likely to buy a mate 20 x next month will share some examples when i do.

Actually, effective area is not that big as is curved. Also, white color is not as good as you can see in non pro IPS LCD version or Samsung note 9 display.

Based on what I read so far on tgsp:

WWP - sp can fit spigen case
MHW - got black border, can fit UAG
RWM - no black border, can fit UAG

Correct?

Well, gotta say that I'm continued to be impressed. Here's a picture I took without any edits using the 0.6x zoom lens.

So far mate 20 Pro is great! Good battery life, super fast charging,good feel with loca and free casing, imba camera.

It has been years since I felt this awesome for a new phone. Never felt this for the newer iPhone after iPhone 5

Not only selfie, for normal photo mode when detected face, a certain amount of face smooth can be seen.
