Go to settings -> more -> tethering & portable hotspot -> portable wifi hotspot.. from there you can configure the wifi password etc..

I dont have such issue.. since you purchase your phone from huawei shop maybe you can check with them?

hi all,

am considering purchasing the telco set when i recontract. can i just check with you guys on the following?

- anyone rooted? can share on the resources and steps?
- if we do not use the huawei supplied charger, but use alternative 2.1A/QC2.0 charger, will it still charge quickly? there is also no way to support wireless charging right?
- any recommendation for casing and screen protector (apart from mobilelite jimmy)? intending to shop bluelight glass SP from taobao if cant find locally or local is too ex.

don't know why the music player jerking on and off despite after a restart. anyone encountered before?

has anyone try the NFC function with Ezlink application on mate8 to see whether it can read the Transitlink card? I try and don't detect, but the NFC beam work on transfer file to my mate7. The app work on my mate7 running EMUI3.1, no idea is it because mate8 running EMUI4

Oneplus One 7.5hr SOT although may not be as good as the mate 8 but can get a used one for less than 300. Pretty good imo

The ezlink app (my ez-link mobile) worked on my mate 8. Managed to read 2 of my ez-link cards

no matter what phone, I still believe in sticking with the stock firmware has the best battery.
sorry I don't do gaming but I guess, should be longer on mate 8.
because it has bigger battery with lower (full HD) resolution.
just purely on browsing the internet, I ever hit 15-17hrs SOT.
