Sorry I was overseas and had limited internet.

A lot of the news I got from Facebook https://www.facebook.com/huaweimate9sg/ fansite.

So rumoured there is:

1) 2 colors in Singapore, gold and gray
2) stock not so much for first batch they are rushing more in.
3) price is 898
4) No official news for pro version in anywhere except China.

My Mate 9 I am very very happy with it. Following is true:

fast like crazy no lag at all
Memory management is very aggressive so never even use 3GB RAM, I'm worried that with 6GB the memory management relax and the batt life suffers.
5.9 inch screen is perfect for my old eyes.
I now know what someone in this forum was talking about when he said should not use AMOLED for this screen resolution. The screen is far better than AMOLED on p9 plus. FAR better.
Charging is so fast that just 10 minute toilet break such a huge charge.
You'd be glad to hear that almost every junkware can be uninstalled!!! Even google news stand!!!
No crash at all all this time.
Camera is far superior to previous one. 20MP in dark, 12MP in bright, is optimal.

Funny thing is i thought the back is supposed to be metal back, how come is the plastic type feeling one?

i feel like the harvey normal deal looks to be the best. alot of freebies though not sure if other avenues also getting the same. sign up for newsletter and get $10 off.

just hoping i can collect it on the 19th itself.

Malaysia will get the normal Pro on Dec, will Singapore also follow? The QHD, 6GB/128GB is tempting for $300 extra but losing 0.4" and the curve is manageable like Note7 or too curved like S7E? I think M9 is not as exciting off the go like M8 was.

Don't mind share with us if the notification feature is really that bad like someone here mentioned that it only shows number of notification only?

HM gift is for 1st 20 customers thus may ends up get nothing. I wish to go to shop and buy cos buy online may not get it so soon.

yup i had that thought too but paying with my credit card to get rebates also. let's just hope i still am entitled to it and it is available tomorow. Harvey Norman's retail manager was corresponding with me via email and by the looks of it, he said i could still be entitled to it. fingers crossed! :s13:

Warranty Local 2 years.

Last night called 1627, M1, found out they will launch around 19 Nov, but the cso cannot confirm whether will bring it to CEF at Suntec.

Huawei Mate 7 is the first premium phone that I purchased (non-iphone) and it remains the only phone that I liked. Went on to purchase other Huawei products. Only problem I have is.... I can't get good resale price for it. I'm still holding the Mate 7 (in 9/10 condition too) cos can't sell off.

Still in a dilemma about going for the Mate 9 or not.
