isit hype or the phone really stays fast after 1 yr?

no way isit hype lol. compared to my v20 and s7 edge and even oneplus 3 (op3 not v fair bc i resetted to flash ROMs) it still is blazing fast and snappy.

i rly like it. idk if its only me or what but i prefer metal phones over front glass back glass one drop wonder phones.

Unless u are using it naked without a case, otherwise imo metal or glass doesn't make a difference. It will still be hidden behind and become a plastic phone

Have used it for around 9 months. Speed is still consistently fast and acceptable for me, if this goes well then I'll be a Huawei convert for my next recontract.

Second your opinion. Used mine for about 9 months too and show no sign of slowing down. I've been using Mate series since Mate 7 and no regrets till now.

Mine has some lag when clicking links from whatsapp to chrome and back. Other than that so far so good...

Still using mine and it ticks all the boxes - snappy fast, cpu, ram, large screen, gd camera, FW updates, stable, big battery, fast charging... and still have warranty till 2019.

Hard to move to another phone without trading off one or more of these (battery is the first thing). Unless you are one of those that absolutely needs bragging rights with the latest feature(s), nothing that this fone can't fulfill based on your needs.

And of course, u can find sets at a value price that makes it all the more worthwhile.

Well it was 398 before mate 10 was released and currently there is an online promo and recontract voucher so in the end i got it for 198 xD and imma gonna sell my current phone

Cant wait for it to reach xD
