Does Huawei charger work in the US?

if it reads,

input: 100-240VAC

it'll work in every corner of the world as long as it fit the mains socket..

i believe all mobile phone charger are full voltage range type

Just did a battery replacement for my Mate 9.
Warranty was ending this month so I took it to the service centre at 313 Somerset.
Handed it around 12:30 on Sunday and asked to deliver the phone once done.
Checked the Service No at their website and it was done on the same day.
Better self collect if you need it in a hurry.

As I opted for the delivery, I just got the phone back today delivered to my office.
Battery replacement was under warranty so no charges at all and they also re-pasted a new screen protector which is nice.
I also did ask how much it costs and they quoted $49 something all in if out of warranty..

What was the reason did you give and they agreed to replace the battery?

I just said I wanted to replace the batter since it has been 2 years.
Service rep just let me know they wouldn't replace if nothing is wrong.
I said It's ok, I don't mind replacing and paying the charges I just want to replace the battery.

Service rep printed the Service Report stating 'Battery Drain'.

No charges.

Was there any data loss?

Thank you for the information.

Had to reset the phone before handing it in.
No issues for me, as the Mate 9 became my secondary phone.
Better start fresh with a new battery also.

Nice. I think i should send in soon too.

Thank you. :)

Do u feel any significant improvement with new battery? Since the past few firmware updates battery life has suffered not sure if due to weakening battery or simply sw updates.

The mate 9 is not my daily driver anymore, just a secondary phone for my other simcards. So I can't comment performance wise.
I changed the battery to give it a 'new life' since I plan on keeping it as a backup.
But since all batteries degrade overtime especially if your phone heats up a lot due to heavy usage, I'd suggest to replace the battery towards the end of year 2.

Hmm.. $49.xx is not expensive to pay as the phone is still performing well for me. I'm kinda using Mi Max 3 as my daily phone, but my Mate 9 still houses my "official" number that I use for communicating with govt agencies, banks etc.

With the big rise in floor price for M20/pro, makes more sense to replace battery on 18-22mth old M9/M10 by a large margin especially within warranty

Actually decided to not get another Huawei phone, due to the propreitory supercharge technology. I move around, so will have to purchase spare chargers for my devices. I'm now using Anker's 6 ports charger and am only getting normal charging speed for my Mate 9.

Now, I'm only looking at phones that adhere to Qualcomm's QC standard. Until Mate 20X comes along and I'm tempted. LOL..
