Hi all, my LG G4 up lorry liao due to too much stress playing POGO. I was thinking of either a Mate 9 or a Mi Max.

Would like to know which one would be a better choice as my LG G4 had over temp issue and the GPS not really good and playing game is really lagging.

My colleague who is using a Mate 9 told me normal charging if not using their power adapter will damage the phone ?

Anyone know where is the cheapest place to get this phone

Thanks.....................

I like the supercharge very much and that's the key feature. Why only use normal charging =.=

What I mean is let say you are outside playing POGO or some other games, can you still use your portable charger ?

Will it damage the phone by doing so ?

look like Mate 9 Pro (6GB+128GB) @ RM 3399 is much worth it. SRP @ China is RMB 5299 convert to ~RM 3415. :)

No, it will not damage your phone. Normal portable charger will not provide supercharge as it requires both stock charger and cable. If you received the free Huawei portable charger, it is able to provide supercharge provided you use it with the stock cable.

Playing game while charging will only slow down the charging since your phone is draining power at the same time.

I turned off all wifi related including wifi off when phone sleep. But still showing wifi blue line full all the way.
Downloaded gsam, showed wifi is not on. Perhaps it's a bug. Tks

setting->adv settings->location services,
tap the three dots at top right corner(scan settings),
i bet wifi scanning is turned on

this could be it

Have been using the Mate 9 for a few days. I always get this power intensive app notification appearing which would show that whatsapp, facebook, truecaller etc is running. Is there anywhere to disable this function or ignore as i would need whatsapp to run in order to receive messages.

Anyone have any idea what is Truecaller? seemed like it came pre-loaded with the phone. Advisable to uninstall if i wouldn't be using it?

Thanks!

Truecaller is an app that identifies the caller that is calling you so you will know especially for unknown callers. Only flip side is you will be identified to others when you call them. Personally I don't like the privacy compromise so i don't use it.
