Thanks. In that case then i shall uninstall the app.

Anyone has the solution for the power intrusive app notification that keeps appearing?

Thanks once again.

Truecaller is an app that identifies the caller that is calling you so you will know especially for unknown callers. Only flip side is you will be identified to others when you call them. Personally I don't like the privacy compromise so i don't use it.

Have been using the Mate 9 for a few days. I always get this power intensive app notification appearing which would show that whatsapp, facebook, truecaller etc is running. Is there anywhere to disable this function or ignore as i would need whatsapp to run in order to receive messages.

Anyone have any idea what is Truecaller? seemed like it came pre-loaded with the phone. Advisable to uninstall if i wouldn't be using it?

Thanks!

for apps that you'll want to leave on like whatsapp, select to turn off the prompt
for others, select to auto close
after a few days, the nagging will go away

i deleted truecaller, the app is the free version with ads. so irritating

Did I get a fake mate 9? Looks different from what strait times is advertising. Can I go over to Huawei to demand them to change mine into a Porsche Design Mate 9?

Sent from HUAWEI MATE 9 using GAGT

setting->adv settings->location services,
tap the three dots at top right corner(scan settings),
i bet wifi scanning is turned on

this could be it

SPOT on! It's preset both wifi and Bluetooth is always searching. Many thanks, sleepless nights because SOT wasn't that great and batterydropping fast. This could be the answer.

I realised whenever I am in areas with SingTel Wi-Fi or wireless@sgx, the mate 9 connects to it automatically without me turning on the toggle. Found the root cause, Wi-Fi+ is assisting this process so gotta turn off manually.

I've this problem with the native Email app. All emails in Inbox will be deleted by the next day, not found in Recycle Bin or any other folder. I've checked, Settings -> Incoming Settings -> Delete email from server = Never.

Ironically, those emails I deleted are still in Recycle Bin, for as long as they are.

Can anyone help ?

My Msian unit firmware OTA yesterday updated to latest b136 from b110.
Haven't notice any significant improvements yet except notification on status bar now show the app instead of numbers
