Mate 9 under Hicare Prestige category, so free (edit: one time) screen replacement within 1st year and door to door delivery service. But I am not sure abt the 1 to 1 replacement, probably subject to their discretion still.

Talking about whatapps, I also noticed that new mssg never appeared unless you open the application.

Maybe let me play with the notification management setting on whatsapp first.

fix it under the battery management settings. There is another article about how to configure it but i can't seem to find it. But this works too.

Should I upgrade to the latest firmware ? I do have a oversea sim card lying somewhere. If is poor battery life I rather stick to the current have as I having good battery.

Btw anyone experience when you screen lock the phone on WhatsApp chat mode too long, and when you unlock and the screen is not reacting at all other then the 3 button below. WhatsApp seem like clash with Huawei interms of software?

Not just Huawei all phones cant for pogo. U need to be running the app on the main screen else it won't record your steps or distance.

I'm not getting good battery life after the update. Couldn't last me one full day with moderate use. Not good battery life.

After hearing about the bad battery life after firmware update, not so looking forward to it liao..

I concur, wanted to quickly update the firmware to B136 as I preferred the icon notification then the number.
