Did you turn off WiFi and Bluetooth scanning? Go to ur setting and search for "scan"

But can't find Scan in either one in setting. Helpful if you can provide a screenshot here.

I had this all the time. If a smartphone can't do as below, then something buggy.

Setting->Advanced settings->Location access->Touch on the "3 dots"->Scan settings

Switch off Wifi scanning


with this off, you disallow the phone to scan for wifi signals to aid location

The wifi toggle in notif bar merely enable/disable wifi data access but does not inhibit wifi from sniffing

I had this all the time. If a smartphone can't do as below, then something buggy.

On top of ur setting, there is a search bar, just type "scan" and you will get the setting page. Search is a powerful thing, you can pretty much find anything even if it's buried deep in the pages

SuperCharge i know can see 2x lightning symbol..
FastCharge is what symbol ar?
Normal charge is just 1 lightning rite?

You just need to lock screen while it is charging. It will display on the bottom left of the lock screen. Charging, Fast Charging or Super Charging.

Pretty happy with they phone so far but Missing things I feel that should be present by this time (just changed from a LG Gpro2):

Screen lock PIN pad scrambling.
Double tap screen to wake.
Data usage cycle date setting.
Screen shots showing up in the notification pane till you clear it away.

Extra things that can't be removed:
The keyboard logo on the extreme bottom right

Other:
Drawer mode home screen doesn't work properly.

keyboard logo can be remove
1.click the icon on bottom right
2.select configure input method
3.disable huawei swype

my drawer mode has no problem, can you elaborate future whats the problem?

Does anyone know what the Huawei Mobile Services app is for? There was an update recently and it now keeps prompting for permissions to many areas like phone, notifications, storage, sms, location, and more.

Quick check, for those whom u put in SD card and have movies in it, my vlc or other video players can't seem to auto scan the movies and I have to always go to the SD card video folders even tho I already added the SD card directory to scan. Any idea what causes this? Already gave vlc full permission though...

Yeah kind of miss the double tap function on my G4 and G2, can minimise the usage of the side button. But all is good.
