Anyone experience low SD card performance? I bought Samsung Evo Select 64GB, when used in Mate 9, the performance is worst than 2016 Sandisk Ultra 32GB which was rated 45MBps read and 15MBps write.

The Evo select is rated at 100MBps read and 60MBps write. in real world test, its proven to do ~95MBps/Read and ~67MBps/Write.

You are copying from your pc to the memory card in mate 9 right?

Speed will not be accurate if you are doing so. Mate 9 need process the data and write it into your memory card. Hence the lower speed. If you have a memory card reader, that will be a more accurate way to test

Using USB cable connection to computer then claim the phone have slow SD card performance must be some dumbest thing to do.

Obviously I meant the phone accessing the card itself, benchmarking and actual transferring between internal storage and microsd. The last 2 images are to prove the card is not limiting factor for the slow performance.

What's your microsd androbench result?

Bought a Mate 9 2 days ago and feel pretty happy with it. I also wanted to wait for Mate 10 but the price of Mate 9 is too tempting. 620 bucks. I guess M10 would probably be close to double?

Huawei is releasing new phone on 16 Oct if you can wait

Yup this is really quite a good fone.

Battery life. Speed/ram. Large screen. Good camera. Super fast charging. 2y warranty. Not ridiculously priced above $1k.

Unless u need waterproof, this phone is great.
