buy the original is not too expensive and is fastest supercharging capability, cable is also cheap or comes with the charger. Huawei service center sells.

I suspect my phone is killing my charger. Usually charge with my Anker 5 port charger with Anker USB C cable. 3 ports are dead and the last thing they were connected to was my Mate 9.

My Nexus 6P was using the same charger and cable no problems for months.

Any bros can shed light on this?

I have same Anker charger and USB C cable, so far no problem, can charge other BT headphone on other port.

Brand new local set unrooted.

If local set, comes with 2 years warranty. First year cover screen crack. But, not sure if scratches consider under screen crack or not.

I'm using this too. The halo at the side is minimum. Using the oil will remove them. Need re-application from time to time (for me I touch up after about 2 months of usage).

The oil is what kind of oil? Mine got halo also. But screen protector does not come with oil.

No different from cooking oil. Some sites will tell you to use cooking oil, using a toothpick to dip and fill the gaps. But seriously it's not worth the trouble.
