Was Mate 20 std till abt a month ago. Very nice and very well balanced phone in every area, and price/value. I would highly recommend this or the Pro if u have more budget.

Now switched to Sammy Note 10+ due to work requirements, managed to swap + top up with a friend. Biggest trade off is battery life down abt ~40%!(not joking) per day with same apps and usage patterns - just have to charge during the day. End of day charge up the Sammy for next day while winding down with the Mate 9

Was waiting for Pixel 4XL but there's too many trade offs, and the price was

My Mate 9 is just over 2 years old. It helps that I changed the battery a few months ago and the charge is holding very well. If the next Mate 40 has Google in it (good chance it will), it will be time for me to change my handphone.

Ah beng shops will be slightly cheaper. Dun think u will get much savings.

Not worth it imo given 2nd hand prices on carousell. Might be a good time to upgrade.

buy the screen + mid frame for less than $50 from TB and change yourself.

it's should be easy, as it doesn't require any heating.

just follow the disassembly videos online.

I'm exploring Xiaomi phones next year as the price is much lower than Huawei phones.
