Some apps no longer work without latest gms ( like singtel dash ). Lighthouse is a good replscment for gms. Works with gdrive and maps. Also youtube. It also doesn't disconnect to google as often as when u use micro G

It's not a box environment, it basically simulates gms so most apps will recognize it and you wouldn't have issues arising from lack of gms

Singtel Dash on my Harmony Os phone was frozen with the 'update' pop-up recently for some days on and off. It seems ok now.

Ok. Does the tap to pay option work for public transport ?

So far so good bah . You can always use older versions of the app if that happens . I was using microG previously and lighthouse is a lifesaver. Makes everything so easy. Main gripes with the matexs2 now lies mainly in the battery life and camera . Battery life due to the lousy SD888 and camera because you can't squeeze a flagship shooter with this type of foldable design . Other than that, it's perfect

Anyone using this as a primary at the moment . Currently this is the second thinnest foldable ( folded) . Thinnest is the new mate x3.

i just got a 2nd hand mate xs to play.

in the end, can't bear to part so much money for a phone with no 5G.

i just hope the kirin 990 can last another 2 or 3 years.
