My mother's Nova 3i just got a notification for a new update which BRICKED HER PHONE. Cannot boot up, only get to recovery. Any tips on how to flash/update/downgrade ROM without having all her data deleted?

The recovery got a few options, but seem to suggest having to wipe data/factory reset which will delete all data like her photos and whatsapp stuff. Trying to avoid getting her data deleted.

Try washing it with soap and wipe it dry. Same thing happened to my Mate 20 case after a while. Very cloudy.

Nova 3i users can comment on their battery consumption? I'm from mate 9 n now mate 20, my daughter is using nova 3i n found the battery consumption quite bad. She on her hp from 7am (100%) n she reach school about 7.20am n tbe battery drop to about 94% which she use whatsapp n Instagram only so is it normal?

Same for me. Battery life is now quite bad after upgrading to Pie. Previously on Oreo, the battery life is so much better.

Send in to huawei for checking last Saturday, till now no news from them. Don't know is it motherboard issue. Going to call them later.

Need some help here. Could anyone confirm if the Nova 3i could make voice call using TPG mobile? It is listed as one of the few devices capable of voice in the TPG website but it didn't seem to work after I've put in the TPG sim card.
