Is Huawei phone unable to connect to Wireless@Sg or only Nova 3i cannot?
Or is it wifi settings problem? My Nova 3i not displaying Wireless@Sg when wifi scan while my other phone auto connected to Wireless@Sg

Wirless@SG is too slow.

Beside .. Nova 3i only 2.4Ghz

Thanks. At location when my SIM card no connection, wireless@Sg is an alternate option and is enough for basic internet. Nova 3i not scan wireless@Sg because of 2.4GHz problem but Wireless@Sg is 5GHz?

not sure if it 5Ghz. ever since i got the TPG Sim Card with 2GB daily.. i dun wan to connect to slow Wireless@SG or SGX .

I bought one Huawei Nova 3i in March 2019 from official Huawei retail store in Jurong Point. My father in law was using it fine but recently the battery was swollen. So I passed my spare Huawei Nova 5T to him and migrated all his data to the Nova 5T.

Good thing is that the Nova 3i is still under warranty. So I went to Westgate Huawei Service Centre today to get the battery replaced.

The service is pretty good. They need to erase the data as part of the SOP. They will SMS you when the phone is ready to collect.

BTW, my main Huawei P20 is working fine, nearly two years old now (bought in Dec 2018).

Hmmm I need to replace the battery too as it is also swollen and is pushing the back casing out.

Unfortunately warranty is over. Dunno whether want to let Huawei service center do the replacement or to DIY myself with the Nohon brand of battery from Aliexpress.

You can always check with Huawei service centre on the cost and then decide which way to go.

From what I checked, out-of-warranty charges will be $12 (battery) + $40 (repair fees) rite?

Anyway, this phone model's battery model is HB356687ECW rite?

hi nova 3i users, did anyone experience before the apps suddenly crash (repeatedly) when the same apps were perfectly fine just moments ago?

Interestingly the Nova 3i is still working now (after the battery change) but only as a spare phone. Its main problem is that it has only 2.4GHz wifi.

My one was within warranty at that time so it was free.

You can change the battery in the Huawei Service Centre located in WestGate. I believe the price is not high even out of warranty.
