Hi, is it still advisable to get a used p30 pro? thanks....
It's still a good buy. The phone is already 2 years old so make sure you get one that still has a healthy battery life. If your budget allows, get the Amber Sunrise colour 512GB model. It's slightly newer and more value for money. Of cause, it's only my personal opinion. I've owned many phones and the P30 Pro is one of the best phones I've owned...

Yes 1 of the best I have used. Happily using it still!
Definitely one of the best phones around. And now it can be bought at a good price used. It's best to find those with a few months of warranty left. So still can send the phone for battery replacement and the phone will be as good as new...

What would be a worthy upgrade for P30 Pro ?
It depends if you're reliant on Google. If so, phones after the P30 Pro doesn't have GMS and it can be inconvenient for some. I had the P40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro. Great phones but due to the lack of GMS. I sold both of them off. In terms of camera and hardware, you can give the Xiaomi Mi 11 series a try or Oppo Find X3 Pro, it's a great phone too. As for me after Huawei, Xiaomi is my next favorite brand...

Yeah, nothing I've used comes close to the performance & battery life of the P30 Pro.
Would be needing GMS for sure, hence shall look into Find X3 pro/Mi 11, thanks!

I totally agree with you regarding the P30 Pro battery life. It's amazing. If you need GMS then yes do look into the Mi 11 and Oppo Find X3 Pro. Both are very good phones but out of the 2 models, the Oppo Find X3 Pro has a better camera system, it takes very good pictures more consistently compared to the Xiaomi Mi 11 but the Xiaomi Mi 11 camera is no slouch either...

if for camera than sharp R6
I'm using the Sharp Aquos R6 now. Great phone but the camera software processing and algorithm is not as good as the big brands like Apple, Google, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huwei...etc. But personally for me I like it. Because the pictures look natural and organic. Just like a DSLR camera. But for those that like their pictures oversaturated and with colours that pop. The Sharp Aquos R6 is definitely not for them...

I'm sure most P30 Pro that you can get now are used sets. That's why it's better to get those with a few months of warranty left so you can change the battery or get a good condition used one for a good price and then bring it to Huawei Service Centre and have the battery changed. As for the new Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, I'm not sure if it was ever available in Singapore...

Go for the Sharp Aquos R6. Price has dropped slightly. It's a damn good phone. The screen is amazing and the battery life is good. And the 240hz refresh rate is super smooth and fast. It's a very fast and snappy phone...
