the p30 pro video UI is abit quirky...........i dont understand

from the gallery i can edit the video to trim it, only trim
then i have to go to the native Video app, that allows me to select parts of the video for slo mo, AND ONLY ONCE

3rd party video editors can only slo mo the entire video and not able to selec parts for slowing

Just did it today. Removed the original protector and applied a new tempered glass protector on it.

Why mind blowing? Haha.
Don't know leh. I know quite a few people like me. Like I mean feels kinda gaowei to just remove it since it's like a brand new protector.
But at the same time, it kinda suck cause it's not smooth and not protective on drops?
But still very OCD about removing from the start.
Still feels "something's missing" after removing it today. Haha.

Just a very bad OCD/Habit of trying my best to keep things the day 1 condition. :(
My mate 20x still have its original protector under the glass. Haha.

On a side note, the fingerprint reader on the P30 feels a little faster and more accurate after removing 1 ply of protector. Which is encouraging. :)

P30 pro portrait

Hi

Noticed that the background is blurred for all portraits taken...any advice on how to make both background and person clear? Thanks

screen protector P30 pro

Hi,

Anyone using Okonz UV adhesive tempered glass? Does it cover whole screen including sides or only the top? Fit well with the case that comes with the phone?

Any issues with it so far? Appreciate your feedback on it. Thanks.

That's what portrait mode does. Portrait mode blur background but the the person. Just take normal photo. Don't select portrait mode

just got mine on last saturday with CIS Singtel Plan
P30 Pro ,$88 after discount.

havent activate yet coz saw alot ppl complaint about the speaker and screen quality.
anyone's of here really dissatisfied about the speaker n screen ?

huh? Screen quality is great, and I've barely seen any screen issues come up in this thread. You mean screen resolution? Go get some hands-on time with the device, if you're ok with the crispness of the text den ok lah. Don't let random strangers on the internet decide judgements for you. Same thing with the speaker.

not really. i find the screen ok, speakers abit annoying when gaming when its located at the bottom of the phone (sometimes finger will cover it)... but other than that its a pretty damn good phone. (coming from oneplus 6).

Anyone feel that the Bluetooth sound is slight softer than the previous version? Previously when it is around 2/3 I felt the sound was just nice but now i have to press all the way up? Not sure if I'm the only one feeling this way.
