Who should they look for? Sitting down with pro photographers who uses that camera for an unbiased review? And who is to say the photographers that uses that camera wont be bias? Do they have a more measurable way to define which is camera is better than the other? I do understand not everything can be measured, as the numbers dont give a rat ass about the "feel" of the pictures produced.
Well, everything has pros and cons, and most of the reviews can even be taken with a grain of salt because human are just human (we do tend to be bias towards something we like). Also, the general public doesnt want to know the technical details.. They just want to know if that camera can take good pictures. So it is still justifiable to know how well it flares on benchmark, if not for geeks but just for kicks
