The P9 and P9+ is designed with a curve edge screen that most Tempered Glass is unable to cover.

So what you are experiencing is a common issue. Therefore for tempered glass, you can only get those with color edge which will mask out the air bubble edge.

Should you really required those that follow the contour of your P9 / P9+ curve screen, you will need to purchase Nano Shield type of soft screen protectors which will wrap round the edge of the screen.

But the difficulties in applying this type of Screen Protector is in the softness of the material. There is very little support when you are applying the SP and it is quite prone to accidental damage. I purchased it and had to try 7 different pieces before getting a good application. Lucky the cost of the SP is rather low when shipping in from Taobao.

Just my 2 cents worth of sharing.

Hi guys.. I am looking to change my current Sony Z1 to P9 plus.. cos I keep having network connectivity problems with my Z1.. So I was wondering if the network connectivity for P9 plus would be better? Never used Huawei phones before though... Btw I am out of contract, still running on 3G network... Wondering if that have been causing the connectivity problem

Yes. I have researching in Taobao. Seem like there is no real Tempered glass that can work. Unless your Tempered glass is curved inwards which is possible but costly.

So which SP are you using? Any links to have a look?

Samsung is in its own world sometimes too. But recently a SG coy has a chipset that allows both QC and FC standard... :s13:

Samsung FC is compatible with QC2.0 standard. Good enough, no special cable required. Just use the original Samsung charger 5/9v or QC2.0/3.0 charger. Works well except you do not grt FC at 12v.

P9 down side is no NFC.

Doesn't seem to be the case always though. Sometimes on qc or fc when its not the intended (ie qc on samsung or fc on non-samsung) only get 5V.

Rather irritating lol. Too bad this one don't support

I am using Samsung phone with QC2.0 charger. No problem at all. It switch to 9v and phone inducating fast charge. Just the same as using Samsung original charger. Only dfferent is it will not swtch to 12v charging.

If you get only 5v. First thing to check is the usb cable. Make sure the cable is 4 wire type as switch is controlled by the 2 signal pins.

I am using Note 5 on Anker/Aukey. Cables are provided for by Anker and Aukey respectively.

In addition is the original Samsung charger with the original Samsung cable :)

on the original QC, the LG, BlackBerry Priv etc has no issue at all. Like wise on the original Samsung FC, it has no issue with the Note 5. Only when cross-charge that time sometimes dont auto switch up

Hi guys,
Thinking of getting th P9 lite. Just Wan to check if get from taobao directly, possible to flash to local Rom?

Also, how does this compare with the redmi note 3? Storage space aside, I am looking at overall smoothness and battery endurance.

Thanks!

P9 lite 3,000mah battery
RMN3 is 5.5-inch screen, but 4,000mah battery

Likely RMN3 will have better battery life

Was at m1 shop in tampines today. The huawei promoter told me that p9/lite/plus all supports 4g+3g.

I want to clarify with the existing users to confirm that there was a s/w patch to enable that already?
