u cannot get a NEW local set hero 3 ( any version) or hero 3+ black. its all end of life and gone from all selfs.

if u dun use then it wont get hot... keke .. any electronic device will get hot with prolong use. it maybe some get hotter then others... if your is burning hot.. then do an exchange... if u are noob.. then buy from authorised dealer... with the actual pricing..

imo.. in the hero 4 range.. the SILVER is the best bang for you money...

Thinking of buying the entry GoPro Hero cause it seems cheap. Won't be using it much except for some underwater shots when I snorkel. Advisable?

I have a gopro hero 4 silver with basic accessories collecting dust. If anyone wants to rent one for a short vacation or do a school project, please feel free to PM me. My rates should be lower than what is offered outside. Cheers.

what kind of mounts do they have for mounting on to pilot's helmets?

maybe in 1-2 years time i will go for those russian flights to edge of space then i want to use gopro to record...

Has anyone tried to ship the gopro charget and batteries from amazon? It is so much cheaper but the forwarders seems to restrict batteries. Any solution?

Hi would like to get a gopro 4 now since its BF period. wanna know what the diff in terms of warranty regards to purchase made from amazon, etc and those bought locally?

I called gopro support. they say as far as warranty is concerned, it doesn't matter where you buy. you can send to one of their 3 service centres in the world listed on their website. one is in sg. all they want is a receipt. but when I broached about amazon, they say they cant guarantee I will get service if bought from amazon as it is not an authorized reseller. quite sketchy policy but what I gather is they want a receipt from a brick and mortar store, and they cant say where there is a list of authorized resellers. and before sending for RMA, need to contact them to describe the situation so that they can make judgement about the details and also probably who is going to cover shipping charges, before giving RMA number. sounds unclear enough for me to just forget abt amazon and buy from airport.

now, looking ard for what accessories I need and where to buy. loving the quality on my gopro hero4 silver.

make sense.but amazon BF deal is quite good. probably send back to amazon for warranty related support for me

Just saw from their site got 24hr special promo, buy hero4 and receive free 64gb sandisk extreme sdcard or a 3way mount. Ending soon. Feel like hooting, but still undecided on getting a gopro yet. Anyone knows how often they run such promos?

Yup I would consider that too. I was looking before BF time. Only saw retail prices. what was the BF deal? The sandisk giveaway by their site sounds good too, dunno how often. You can return in 30 days if buy from their site.
