anyone tried gopro on drones? hows the quality of the vid?

can just check on youtube/vimeo to see the quality. there's tons of videos there.

with some editing, a little post stabilisation, colour correction and removing the fish eye in post...the footage can be quite good. ultimately it depends on your creativity in working around the limitations of using a camera with a small sensor such as on the gopro versus using a dslr on multicopters.

send it back to gopro bro.. just tell them u lost the receipt or something, hopefully they are fine with that. so far others say the gopro support are great.

I don't think the gopro support is that great given the length of days they reply to our emails. Mine took 1 week and I had no choice but to call them to find out why.

Then they simply said pls follow the stepa to update and let them know of the outcome. That I simply did and emailed them promptly after the update outcome.

Till now still no reply from them. Gotta call them this evening or morning.

Been trying to find the dual charger for hero 4. No where has stocks. Anyone know?

I was also looking to buy the dual charger with batteries last week. Bought from GoPro website directly with additional battery and some other accessories as it charges a flat $10 shopping charge. Was delivered the next day. Very happy...

Mine updated fine. But the old problem still remains. Freeze up once its turned on....
GoPro Support can't help either. Very disappointed

anyone used the gopro studio to edit video? how come it always say not enough space to convert video. my hard disk still have 200gb. damn...

check ur main hddsk, it uses Movie folder (mac) to save the converted video in step 1.

on a similar note on HDD space,... for video clips that I want to keep but do not want to edit, I use GP Studio to convert to the *.mov format keeping all other settings the same as source. Saves a ton of space as compared to the original *.mp4.

Darn I wonder why so many places are so "NO GOPRO" came back from USS... As long as they see you have GoPro in your hand they either will tell you to out it at the side before the ride or will tell your NO using of GoPro.

I shall off the LED for future recording! And maybe buy a chest strap! hehe

more of a safety issue. Imagine a Gopro flying off from your hands and landing on someone or drop into the gaps of the ride... Hand held cameras are a no go on rides also.
