I'm using the cheapo handphone selfie stick with tripod mount. But I do have the 3rd part 3 way arm bought from dxtream. Looks and function the same as the ori without the logo for Half the price.

Thanks! How about sd card? Where do gopro user buy their sd card from? Challenger sells the sandisk extreme 32gb at $85, kinda expensive if I want to buy 2.

Lots of people has the same disappointment as you.
In fact there is nothing wrong with your skills or camera.
Customers are sway by the vivid image that they always see in youtube promotion or their demo videos. Nevertheless, these are edited by professional to get the best balance video or photo output.

What you need to learn is video & photo editing software.
Gopro has good software to make fantastic videos.

2)and day(7am to 3pm conditions)0 or night time(7pm to 10pm conditions) video recording.

my video recording videos seems so disappointed. make me feel like selling off the gopro. please help me. TIA!

Do some readup and research. I too was confused by the so many modes in gopro and disappointed at my result. But after reading, I narrowed down to only 1 or 2 go-to settings for every situation. Also, read all about resolution, fps, shutter and protune. It helps you to be more confident on the field.

i will get the pro, for future proofing if i can afford it. the regular extreme is more than sufficient for a hero 4 silver though.

you'll never know if the next gen of Hero 5 might require a faster write speed on the cards if it comes with 4k at 60p.

important thing to look out for is always the card's write speed as it will determine whether it can be used with the device.

there have been cases in previous gens of Gopro that some Sandisk cards cannot be used because of its slow, inconsistent write speed which Gopro had to solve by lowering the bitrate of the video recorded when it detects a Sandisk card being used.
