HWZ search is basically un-usable

[AnimeNewbie]

I want to search for a thread started a few days ago by someone. But the search results show all the old threads from a few years to a few months ago. Results should be sorted from newest to oldest.

[Litmuss]

HWZ search is one of the most useless feature in HWZ.

Ish faster to open new thread, get mocked/scolded by others and then they post the link to the thread you're looking for

Provided the thread don't get deleted first.

[Pocoyoz]

Need to use advanced search sort by date

I just uploaded a music video with texts for the singer, song title and etc. Sometimes I search for the song title, couldn't find the post but can find the post by the singer name, strange....

Reminds me of the meme
Fastest way of getting a right answer is to post a wrong answer to a question/ make a false statement then wait for people to give the right answer and prove it to you.

when u use the old threads, people will say u are chao digger

[whatheheck]

it's not possible to search for two different words included right? they will include either or as well, sometimes want to narrow down but get everything

i use google search

e.g. copy and paste this into browser search
site:forums.hardwarezone.com.sg [search term]

can also limit search by time [this week, this month, this year, etc]

Think need go into advanced search to be more specific choose search by date then will list from newest first. The generic search won't.
