but redmi phones usually give the most 2 major miui udpate with maybe a few models that can have 2 android upgardes, and miui update sometime not really android upgrade as there are some is like miui with the same android with sercurity update the most.

Because 70+% of xiaomi, redmi phones are odm. The lower end phones firmware are supported by the odm. Only those higher end phones that are designed by xiaomi then able to support for many years.
This years got improvement. Some models got stated during the launch presentation how many os updates support.
They didn't take 13 years to come out with OS, MIUI was already 13 years old. HyperOS is just to better integrate the whole ecosystem including their future EV. They could have even done it without Android, but market outside China would not accept it with significant less amount of apps.
feels like an slightly upgrade on the visual part with more customization to your liking kinda of thing. but still feels oddly similar to previouse miui os.
only interested in no ads & bloatware
UI hardly anything mind blowing for me, i don't do any sort of customization at all.
hopefully someone can explain core/kernel difference that makes hyperos better than miui.
