Xiaomi’s Android 16 update is official, with HyperOS 3 set to roll out starting in October, and there’s both a full list of devices and a schedule already available.

HyperOS 3 brings a handful of new updates to Xiaomi’s Android skin, including:

• Redesigned homescreen
• Hyper Island for live notifications and more
• Touch to Share
• Improved privacy
• New cross-ecosystem features with iPhone, iPad, MacBook
• New AI writing, recording, and search tools
• Gallery search
• Dynamic Wallpapers and Cinematic Lock Screen

There’s a fair bit to look forward to, and Xiaomi says you won’t have to wait long.

HyperOS 3 will start its rollout on the Xiaomi 15T series in October, with Xiaomi 15 following closely behind. The rollout then continues through March 2026. Xiaomi’s schedule, which could definitely vary with time, follows below.

Seeing Xiaomi's pattern, it is better to have lower expectation than keeping hope up. New algo etc can wait long long.. .Just hope they release soon with stable enough software (which i don't see why not when it is already out for most of the devices).
